Dad's Birthday

Dad's birthday was on Friday so we had a little celebration at the house with everyone dressed in the colors of his favorite school. Happy Birthday, Dad! We love you!!

Darling little visitor

We had little Dean over this last weekend for a visit and he was so darling! I cannot believe how big he has gotten. He is a sweet and loving, cuddly little boy, and yet it was a big reminder of just how much work a baby is. I can't wait!!!

Miley Cyrus / Hannah Montanna

Here is Jackie going to the Miley concert. Has anyone seen anything cuter? Try not to notice how large I am in the pic of the two of us, and pretend as I do that it's all baby. We had so much fun on this night and it was really special staying at Grandma and Grandpa Joe's. I cannot remember ever doing anything like that and we really enjoyed it.

Soccer Girl

I am almost giddy because my camera is working and I can put pics up! Here is my little soccer girl at her last game. In my totally unbiased opinion she is a natural but unfortunately for her, a tad bit to intense. She does not lose well.

Green Day

Last week me and Jackie went to Hot Topic in Hollywood to get autographs from one of our favorite bands Green Day. Jack was so eletric and cute I could have poked her eyes out. I brought her an album to get autographed and the band was really impressed that Jackie had vinyl and asked her if she even knew what it was. She goes "yes, it's a record. I'm a really big fan of your band. My favorite songs are Basketcase and Boulevard of Broken Dreams". The band was totally impressed and thought she was the coolest thing ever. I thought I would have wanted Green Day to be impressed with how cool I was, but it was a million times more of a compliment and made me proud to have them be impressed with my daughter. It was a really fun moment as a parent. The band all gave Jackie high fives and told her she rocked (she was the only kid there), and Billie Joe (the singer) gave me a hug for being a cool mom and it was really sad because he stood up and I didn't even realize he had. I must be at least twice his size. Lol.

nothing much to report

okay so i haven't blogged in awhile cuz i haven't had anything much to say, but i'm forcing one anyways.
me and scott and jackie went out to dinner last nite (a really burner chinese food place in town) and when we were leaving my cell phone rang and it was a little girl for jackie. it was her first friend phone call. isn't that big? jack was really perky and paced around in the parking lot for a minute acting hot talking on the phone, and then got off. do people call each other at 7? she seemed much too newbornish for such an activity.i don't really feel like her working friends. i will be her friend! lol! i am only sort of kidding...anyways that's all i've got...

Jonas Brothers Movie

I am a litte late on this but mom just showed me how to add pics and I am delirious. How fun is this! Here is us and the kids at the Jonas Brothers movie. Needless to say, it was a wonder. I was very proud of my husband who was literally the only man in the theater. Jackie was  darling rocking out and needed to be knocked out.
